What a great book. Ever so glad i bought this and worth every cent. Very technical outlook on bonsai design and has already helped me tremendously in the approach to styling and classifying my trees. A must for every enthusiast!
This is a well thought out book that explains clearly the good and the bad presentation of our tree and how to make the best decisions to place the tree/trees in the pot. Definately one of the better bonsai books that I have.
Am so happy with my book.
An excellent book to have in your collection. If anyone is familiar with John Yoshio Naka's "Bonsai Techniques I. II & III" they will appreciate beauty of this new publication that illustrates some on Mr Naka's principles, amongst a full range of others. In this book you will to understand exactly what makes a bonsai style a true style and not just another "Tree in a pot". This is a detailed deconstruction of the geometry and maths behind bonsai styling. If you never knew the depth of the art form then this will make an enlightening and excellent read!!
For beginners and the more seasoned bonsai enthusiasts alike, this is a great book to add to your collection. Great step by step explanations and illustrations make following the examples easy.
