Ronin 6mm

Overview

This bonsai carving bit from the Samurai family of deadwood carving products is made in Holland to the highest machining standards. The bit is sized to fit a die grinder with 6mm collet (which is standard) and is ideal for removing a lot of wood safely and comfortably.

Two V SHAPED cutters make up the 'business end' of this tool and produce a sharp or angular cut. The material used in these bits is hardened stainless steel. The tungsten cutting tips are extremely hard but with extended use they will become blunt. When they do, simply loosen the screw and rotate the tip 90 deg and tighten (be sure the screw is clean before tightening as wood dust may clog the fine thread). You can do this up to 4 times but will then need to replace the cutting tip only, not the entire bit.
