Japanese Red Pine

A few years ago, I found a very small nursery tucked away, who sells Japanese red pines. What makes some of the trees special is that they are yamadori, or collected from the wild. Every time I am in the area I pop in to see if there is anything I can afford to buy. I am quite excited about this tree. It has some amazing, natural deadwood and its life as a bonsai only began a couple years ago so there is much room for styling. This is a special tree and to be able to claim you have a real Japanese Yamadori in your collection is quite a statement.
