Thickness: 1.6mm

AWG (American Wire Gauge): 16

Weight: 500g

Length: Approximately 28m (500g)

The stronger holding power of copper is due to "work hardening." The more annealed copper is handled, the stiffer it will become. Store it preferably in a box or on the floor and do not re-spool it onto a reel.

Selected from these quality wire cutters

Please handle annealed copper wire as little as possible prior to use.

    Great wire for conifers

I enjoy using copper wire when I work on conifers as I can use a smaller gauge of wire to shape branches. When wiring conifers, the wire stays in the tree longer than when wiring deciduous trees. Because thinner wire is used and the colour of copper wire blends in well with the conifers, in terms of aesthetic value, it is visually more inconspicuous than aluminium
