Thickness: 3.2mm

AWG (American Wire Gauge): 10

Weight: 500g

Length: Approximately 6m

Manufacture: Annealed in Japan for use by bonsai professionals.

The stronger holding power of copper is due to "work hardening." The more annealed copper is handled, the stiffer it will become. Store it preferably in a box or on the floor and do not re-spool it onto a reel.

Selected from these quality wire cutters

Please handle annealed copper wire as little as possible prior to use.

      BONSAI TREE.

Bonsai Tree has the most extensive range of everything any Bonsai grower could imagine. The quality of tools, fertilisers, medication and preventative sprays and drenching chemicals is of the highest, and the help that Terry and his assistant James is both reassuring and transmits the experience of growing and maintaining Bonsai. Trees imported and grown by Terry are just beautiful to behold. I’ve had trees for many years, but now am invigorated baby everything that is BONSAI TREE. It couldn’t be better.

      Annealed copper wire

Hi Terry. The annealed copper wire is far superior to using aluminium on conifers as, far less wire is used... it "work hardens" as you apply it so branches stay in place far more effectively. The colour also blends in with the branches much better than the shiny aluminium.

Annealed Copper Wire, 2.0mm (14 AWG)

A very great wire for general bonsai training. Firm but flexable enought for softer woods.

      Copper Wire

I recently used copper wire for the first time on my junipers and there is no doubt it has a stronger hold on the shape you are looking for. This was confirmed when I removed the wire, to find that most branches had held their shape. In this respect it is far superior to aluminium, if you are wiring a hard barked trees. It's also more great for guy wires!
