About this pot

Yu Dunjin's association with purple clay began in his teens working in a clay mine. He graduated through each step of the process used to make purple clay ceramics. From selecting raw materials, to grinding of the rocks to finally the making of the clay. His journey ended with perfecting the ancient technique of purple clay pot making. He sources purple clay of the highest quality and bakes his ceramic creations in his own kiln for maximum control of the final product.
