Deroma's Italian terracotta pots have been fired at extremely high temperatures, providing greater durability and resistance to cracking in cold climates.

Plastic trays perish in the sun, but terracotta clay containers develop character over time. Clay also provides better moisture control and thermal insulation, creating less stress for plants.

Note! Growing in unglazed terracotta containers such as these, moisture loss is higher compared to glazed pots. If you want to combat this, rather choose Japanese Marukou containers which are fired at higher temperatures and resist mould growth.
