Drosera puchella is a common pygmy sundew in its natural habitat which includes the coastal regions of south-west Western Australia. This species is rather easy to identify by the broad petioles it grows. Where it is found growing wild you will usually find them in areas which are constantly wet such as the edges of swamps. Sometimes they can even be totally emersed for short periods. They bear a very attractive flower too.
