The Nepenthes spectabilis parent boasts stunning pitcher patterns, with bold red spots and speckles against a vibrant green backdrop, and a wide peristome adorned with alternating stripes of crimson and emerald. Meanwhile, the Nepenthes mirabilis var. globosa parent (previously known as Nepenthes 'Viking') displays plump pitchers with impressive wings and a gradual shift from a rich orange to a deep red hue. These plants were grown from cuttings by Walter van Dyk.
