My over all experience purchasing from Terry @ Bonsai Tree was ***** star. My quality scissors will definately be put to good use when my bonsai's have grown. Highly recommended

When I received the item, the blades of the scissors were very rough and had two high spots that made the cutting action quite rough and tight. I separated the blades and ground them smooth, removing the high spots. I also ground the tips allowing for accurate, fine cutting. I am now very happy with them. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to give you feedback.

I bought these as a basic starting point before I decided to invest in more expensive equipment, fully expecting them to be “adequate” enough to get the job done but not much more (after all scissors are scissors). However, after using them I’m pleasantly surprised. The handle is comfortable to grip and the blades cut smooth and clean. After use I clean them off and apply a bit of canola oil with a rag and they’re good to go for next time (one thing to note is that they do form a white scale if you forget to oil them although that’s simply down to personal negligence and is easily remedied). Overall a well made and sturdy pair of scissors that I expect will last me quite a few years.

The item works great, but it came in the mail a little rusted, possibly from the moisture from the other products?

Wonderful! Fits perfectly in you hand and is sharp enough to cut through thick branches.

Was surprised at the sturdiness size and sharpness. Nice to have as first scissors. Just keep oiled to protect against rust

I was unsure about which bonsai tools were of value and quality because I'm just starting out. I am however experienced at recognizing quality when I see and feel it. These are high quality and came oiled in the original packaging. I am very happy.

I am actually very new to the whole bonsai thing and was actually terrified of having to trim my bonsai.

But it was quite actually a breeze and the scissors works quite well.
I will definitely purchase from bonsai tree in the future if I need anything again for my bonsai.

In the short time I have had these scissors, i seem to use them more and more everyday. They really come in useful in many different tasks of bonsai, and they're cheap too! A must for any beginner.

These are very efficient, and so much fun to use. I have very weak wrists and I can say that cutting on trees and even other plants in our garden has never been this easy on my hands. After I did most of the cleaning up on some of our bonsais, my husband did a trip around the garden looking what else he could cut because its just so comfy and easy to use. Definitely a product that I will recommend for everyone but especially to people who struggle with carpal tunnel or arthritis.

Just getting into bonsai now and these scissors are incredibly useful. Can't imagine how I would do anything without them - just cleaned up some rough cuts I'd done with kitchen scissors and they look much better now. They're also mighty comfortable and can maneuver those tight spots like a dream!

For new Bonsai enthusiasts, I think it is a good and affordable option to get the general cutting done to precision.

Good clean scissors, once I got the jang of the bigger handle loops, I am really enjoying the sharp cutting edge. Really inexpensive compared to japanese equivalent but really worth it for the novice...like me
