This 23cm root hook is highly praised for bonsai re-potting work. Customers said it's "a must have addition to your toolbox" with "great build quality" and exceptional value. The tool effectively untangles root balls with minimal damage, outperforming chopsticks and rakes. Beginners and experts alike found it reduces hand strain and makes work more efficient.
As an absolute beginner at Bonsai re-potting, I honestly thought that this tool will be a waste, as I can use any object to do the same. How wrong I was when I used it for the first time, it made the job at hand so much more effective and I felt like a pro using it. Thank you Terry for all your assistance.
This is a solid tool and a must have addition to your toolbox, and for the price it is a no brainer. Definitely worth getting yourself one.
Once again Bonsai Tree sets an example to online purchases. Professional / help full / response time to ANY queries are dealt with very quick. Keep it up.
Great build quality, great grip and awesome additiion to the toolbox for the novice to the expert. You might think that it's difficult to find a root hook that doesn't work, and (from personal experience) I can garuntee that there is such a thing however, there is no need to worry about that with this one, especially for the price.
To add the delivery came in faster than expected and without hassles.
The best tool I have bought so far, it is so handy. I would reccoment it for beginners any day. It does very little damage to the roots but yet being effective in sorting out a mess of a root ball I am very happy with this buy.
I have never seen the need for one of these, as I always just used an old chopstick. I decided to get one, and all I can say is that I was dumb not to get one sooner. A lot less strain on your hands when using this compared to chopstick. I also found it a lot less damaging to the root than using a 3 prong rake. I believe this should be one of the first tools you buy in this hobby.
