Waiting for the next workshop!

I've waited 3 months after the workshop to post a review because I wanted to see the trees responding well. And they have!!
What a great experience, the online format was fantastic both for me as an experienced grower and for Debs a newbie. We both learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed Terry's content, experience, knowledge and patience. He is a phenomenal teacher.
To have everything we needed delivered beforehand was also brilliant. We waited impatiently for the day and weren't disappointed.
Both pines are vigorous and the little roots are already getting thicker.
Thanks Terry, we can't wait for the next one. Please sign us up..

JBP Root Over Rock Workshop

Terry has done a stellar job in preparing everything for this workshop. The tree arrived quickly with all the other things in the kit and was exceptionally well packed. As always there was a handwritten note to make you feel unique and special as a customer.
Fast forward to the workshop: Terry explained everything very well and was very accommodating.
The very first thing I noticed, however, when taking the tree out of the container was the exceptionally fine root development. Some people may overlook this, but Terry deserves loads of credit for this fact in and of itself. He could've just grown these JBPs haphazardly in preparation for the workshop and do the bare minimum to keep the trees in good health. But the root development tell the true story of his care for these trees. To have grown such a dense network of fine feeder roots and virtually no thick roots is testament to a masterful balancing of water and oxygen in the growing medium and dedicated feeding schedules. This just shows his knowledgeable dedication to this art we call Bonsai.
Excellent job Terry.
In the photos you can see the tree before the start of the workshop and right after the workshop.

Thanks so much Quintin! I am so glad you enjoyed the workshop and also that you created such an awesome result. I will be keenly watching this space over the years to come.
