- Bonsai ceramic container (13.5 x 11 x 5cm) and saucer glazed in black featuring a fired on pine branch motif.
- Japanese black pine seeds x 5
- 8 Page, A6 sized, colour booklet with step by step instructions.
- Bag of seedling growing medium

No tools, wire or fertilizer is included in the kit. You can purchase a basic pair of scissors here, some shaping wire here and some organic fertilizer to ensure your tree grows healthy here.

Lovely kit
I soaked the seeds for 24 hours, then placed them in a bag of sphagnum moss in the fridge. 4 days later I put them in the soil and into a plastic dome. In a few days all seeds germinated. Waiting now for the stems to turn colour so I can cut them. There was more soil in the pack than required and the pot is of good quality. Great product!

Fantastic product!
Really happy with this little kit. Everything is clearly explained in the provided manual and as a bonus Terry has done an unpacking video on it! As a beginner (like me) you always wonder if you're doing the right thing. I'll outline my steps as it may be of help to some of you. I soaked the seeds for 24 hours (all the seeds sank to the bottom of the container). I didn't place them in the refrigerator. I sowed them immediately after soaking and left them in a warm room that gets a lot of bright morning light (not direct sunlight), near an opened window. I used a light spray bottle to water them twice a day, not excessively, just to get the soil moist. After 1 week i could see the first seed starting to sprout through the soil. And the picture you see here is 2 weeks after sowing (early Spring). All 5 seeds germinated! The quality of the seeds is clearly exceptional and the overall experience was amazing. I highly recommend this product and I hope you all have success in growing your own pines!

Black pine kit
Bought the kit early spring of 2019 and had 4 out of 5 seeds germinate which I would consider an above average germination rate, fresh seeds. overall enjoyable experience growing pines from seed. Lovely product I would highly recommend.
