The first pitcher is shooting out at a tremendous rate, already almost 60 cm tall and the pitcher has not even open yet! More than happy.
Like the deciduous blend I purchased, this option is perfect for my juniper and black pine trees which i recently re-potted a few weeks ago. Both trees are showing good signs of new growth so I know the blend is working well. Very happy with all the various sifted blends on offer, so much so that I bought the succulent blend in addition to the conifer and deciduous blends. Will only be using Bonsai Trees sifted blend mixes going forward from henceforth.
Very convenient packaging on offer after purchasing separate containers and self mixing of the various ingredients for many years in the past. No concerns over whether the various components are mixed in accordance with the relevant ratios-this is all done for you and eliminates the guesswork. Bought a second 2kg packet for some new plants I recently re-potted. So much simpler for re-potting purposes and my go to aggregate option now.
Bought a 8 inch and 10 inch and was pleasantly surprised after being disappointed at the glazed containers I was interested in, being sold out. Well built, nice thick solid structure which should last many years. Plus they were purchased whilst on a 50% off sale which kept the price in the budget friendly zone.

The water retention is great when use with Bark chips in a mix for Orchid's much beter than perlite with the same draining and airflow capabilities and give some extra time on watering times highly recommended

To my surprise the plant started its spring growth by sending up an enormous flower. The first pitcher is following rapidly, cannot wait to see it unfolding.
