Trumpet Pitcher, Sarracenia mixed flava hybrids, seed grown

Earn%20[points_amount]%20when%20you%20buy%20this%20item.

Sarracenia mixed flava hybrids, seed-grown by the specialist Walter van Dyk, are elegant trumpet pitcher plants celebrated for their tall, vertical form and striking yellow-green base tones. As these are seed-grown rather than cloned, each plant is genetically unique, offering a "lucky dip" of variations in vein intensity and lid shape.

    Key Visual Characteristics

    • Tall Trumpet Structure: Inherits the iconic, slender upright pitchers of Sarracenia flava, which can reach heights of 50 - 90cm when mature.
    • Variable Coloration: Expect a range of lime-yellow to deep green bodies. Many hybrids will display a distinct crimson patch at the throat or intricate red-purple veining across the tube and lid.
    • Spring Flowers: Typically produces large, nodding bright yellow flowers in early spring, often before the first large pitchers fully emerge.
