The Kikuwa branch jack is a specialist tool which when you need to make some large bends in your trees is quite indispensable.
What is great about this branch jack is that the jaws can be rotated to suit any angle. This means that you can adjust the angle at which the jaw makes contact with the branch or trunk you are bending to ensure the least amount of damage to the area where pressure is applied.
This branch jack is of the most useful design as it has 3 jaws. This enables you to make compaction type bends and expansions ones with the same tool. In other words you can create a smaller curve or you can open the curve up.

Kikuwa Branch Jack
I bought this to style a Juniper with lots of deadwood.The greatest benefit is the degree of control one gets when working with a trunk or thick branches. Will now experiment with styling of other trees that I was always hesitant to do

Used this with Terry for the first time a few weeks back. Will definatly use it more now that I have the hang of it. Alloows you to bend a branch over time, giving it time to settle
