Discover the Precision of Kaneshin Narrow Branch Cutters

Elevate your bonsai care with the Kaneshin Narrow Branch Cutters, meticulously crafted to ensure clean and efficient cuts. Here's why these 180mm branch cutters stand out:

Key Features:

  • Superior Blade Design: Unlike cheaper alternatives, the blades of Kaneshin cutters overlap, preserving sharpness and enhancing durability for long-term use.
  • Exceptional Craftsmanship: Handmade in Japan by artisans with over a decade of training, each tool exemplifies precision and quality.
  • Versatile Usage: Perfect for trimming unwanted branches or shortening sacrifice branches, the narrow design allows access to tight spaces, making it ideal for smaller trees.
  • Authenticity Guaranteed: Each cutter is boxed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, assuring you of its quality and craftsmanship.
  • Durable Construction: Made from high-quality black steel, these cutters are built to withstand the rigors of regular use.

Usage Tips:

For optimal performance and to prevent damage to your tools, ensure that the thickness of the branch being cut does not exceed 1/2 to 1/3 of the blade's length.

Why Choose Kaneshin?

With Kaneshin, you are not just purchasing a tool; you are investing in a legacy of Japanese craftsmanship designed to enhance your bonsai experience. For those who appreciate the art of bonsai, the Kaneshin Narrow Branch Cutters are an indispensable addition to your toolkit.

High-quality narrow branch cutters praised for precision and access to tight spaces. Customers said "very high quality and sharp enough to shave with" and "gets to places that no other tools can." Ideal for small branches and dense canopy work. Note: not suitable for thicker branches as one customer learned.

Indispensable for refining work

A tool that gets to places that no other tools can. Cleaning up in all the awkward crotches, nooks and crannies has never been easier. Just make sure you don't use it on thicker branches, or for work its not intended for. I learned the hard way. You know it's indispensable when you replace it immediately! 😎😁

handiest little tool ever

have you ever come across one of those branches you want to cut, you have your pruning scissors on hand, yet the branch is too thick or hard for your scissors but not big enough for your normal sized branch cutter. So you struggle through the branch with your scissors and end up damaging your scissors.... get one of these, you wont regret it. very high quality and sharp enough to shave with.

Essential tool for working on Shohin

Fantastic quality tool, essential for people who like working on small size trees as its narrow head design gets into dense areas of the canopy with ease to create clean cuts.

A Rolls Royce tool

Once I could bring myself to stop admiring it and take it out of its lovely box, the Kaneshin 205mm branch cutter solved an ongoing problem. I am working on urban yamadori in the ground prior to digging them out, as well as pre-styling some fairly big sections of trees (up a ladder!) which will be air-layered later. For bigger branches, this is ideal. Sometimes the pruning saw can't get in at the right angle. This can. Secateurs crush the side opposite the cut. This doesn't. It is also excellent for cleaning up and shaping a rough trunk chop. It cuts cleanly, with a very satisfying "click": sheer pleasure to work with.
