These unique containers made and imported from Japan are ideal for bonsai specimens which do not pair well with more traditionally shaped containers.

Moon or crescent pots may be used for any species of bonsai. Often such plantings will also include accent plants. The asymmetrical design and its textured surfaces play heavily on symbolism within "wabi sabi" aesthetics.  The shape can contribute much to the movement or flow of a planting; think windswept or cascade styles although don't be limited by these.

Specifications

It is not clear what material is used, most likely a composite of materials. However they are of robust construction. Drainage is provided by a bottom hole.
